PicoSure Pro is a quick in office treatment with very little downtime. For our first time PicoSure Pro patients, we recommend topical numbing prior to your treatment. The treatment will cause a warming sensation of the skin and the sensation of tiny pinpricks. Most patients are very comfortable throughout the treatment.
Is There Any Downtime With PicoSure Pro?
Downtime is minimal with the PicoSure Pro laser. You will experience mild to moderate redness immediately after the treatment. The redness may last for 24-48 hours. There are no skin surface changes or healing time. Makeup can be applied within 24-48 hours.
What Results Can I Expect with PicoSure Pro?
You can expect a gradual and progressive reduction in pigment. Some sunspots may diminish significantly with the first treatment and some may linger and require further treatments. The PicoSure Pro is safe for all skin types, all year round. For patients with richly pigmented skin, who are wanting to treat pigmentation, a test patch will be required to ensure that you tolerate this treatment well.
