The Bela MD medical-grade facial provides a non-invasive, pain-free alternative to deep cleansing and sweeping out the pores, while simultaneously delivering active ingredients to your skin under pneumatic pressure.
How Does The Bela MD Facial Work?
The specialty handpiece will exfoliate the surface of the skin, extract sebum, and infuse with your choice of an infusion Serum®. The unique and innovative technology combines these treatments to optimize their efficacy.
These medical-grade facials are performed with a specialized wand that contains a diamond tip that provides microdermabrasion action. While the diamond-tip exfoliates the surface of the skin, the wand uses a gentle vacuum to suck sebum and debris out of the pores, providing deep cleansing.
During exfoliation, the skin is at its most penetrable, and the Bela MD technology infuses medical-grade serums into the skin at the exact moment of exfoliation, optimizing the effects of the already powerful serums. Each serum has special properties and is designed to treat specific skin concerns. Depending on your skincare goals, two serums can be combined in one treatment.
Additional steps include muscle stimulation to tighten and lift the skin and electrostimulation to enhance cellular function.
- The bEVEN serum is formulation with a blend of resorcinol derivative, NIO-LIGHT, Phytic Acid, Ellagic Acid and Lumiskin. It will reduce the appearance of photodamage, brighten complexion and even skin tone.
- The bCALM serum is designed to boost hydration, reduce trans epidermal water loss and improve the skin’s firmness and elasticity. bCALM is ideal for mature, dehydrated skin, sensitive skin types, rosacea and post procedure. It contains Nio-Hydran and Epidermosil.
- The bBRIGHT serum helps to provide anti-oxidant action, improve skin texture and brighten the complexion. It also is ideal for mature, dehydrated skin, sensitive skin types, rosacea and post procedure. It contains Vitamin C, NIO-KIOL and Epidermosil.
- The bCLEAR is designed to treat acne and facilitates skin clearing by regulating serum and stimulating cellular turnover. The main ingredient is salicylic acid and also contains aloe and cucumber to help soothe the skin.

Unlike most other professional exfoliation treatments, Bela MD technology is gentle enough to be used on active acne. The unique handpiece of the Bela MD also extracts sebum, dead skill cells, dirt, and debris that may be blocking the skin glands. This extraction process is beneficial to treat active acne, and can work preventatively to reduce future breakouts. While the technology is cleansing the skin, the pore clarifying serum is simultaneously infused to further purify the skin.
Bela MD medical-grade facials are also beneficial for improving the appearance of pigmented acne scarring. The unique combination of exfoliation, extraction, and infusion allow these facials to have long-term effects on the skin’s texture and tone. To lessen the appearance of acne scars, we recommend a series of several treatments spaced weeks apart.

Bela MD medical-grade facials are simple, fast, and comfortable. To perform your facial, one of our trained staff members will use a diamond-tipped wand that is about the size of a pen. The wand will be evenly moved across the surface of the skin, exfoliating the surface of the skin, extracting buildup and debris, and infusing the skin with your chosen serum. A full service treatment includes six steps. Diamond microdermabrasion, antioxidant boost, ultrasonic extraction, face and neck toning, infusion of Bela MD serum and electroporation. The treatment is painless and only takes about 30 to 45 minutes depending on the type of facial you choose.
There is no downtime after a Bela MD facial, and you can immediately return to your usual activities. You may experience some mild redness or skin sensitivity right after a Bela MD facial, which should subside over the next few hours.
Immediately after a Bela MD facial, you will notice that your skin is more hydrated and has a brighter and more even complexion. Long-term, Bela MD facials can reduce fine lines, wrinkles, sun damage, scarring, and a variety of other skin concerns. For the most visible long-term results, we recommend a series of treatments performed approximately every 4 weeks. Bela MD facials can also be done in preparation for special occasions, or to periodically refresh the skin.
