About AccuTite

AccuTite is a non surgical treatment that consists of radiofrequency assisted lipolysis (RFAL). This treatment dissolves fat cells while stimulating collagen production and contracting the tissues, leading to tighter and younger looking skin. It tightens skin around the under eye, nasolabial folds, lower face and neck. This is why AccuTite and non surgical skin tightening with radiofrequency is one of the fastest growing treatments in the industry.

Please note, we only offer AccuTite treatments at Shine MD. The FaceTite video is shown above to provide an animation of the technology and how it works. The AccuTite and Facetite machine operate on the same principle, however the AccuTite cannula is smaller and releases lower amounts of energy, making it an ideal and safe treatment for smaller areas such as the under eye, nasolabial folds and neck.

What are the benefits of AccuTite?

AccuTite technology by InMode is revolutionary as it can give you impactful results without the invasiveness, cost or downtime of facial plastic surgery. It will improve skin laxity and provide skin tightening and fat reduction in areas such as the under eye area, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, jawline and neck without the need to have invasive surgery. In combination with Morpheus8, we can achieve surface texture improvement and augment the results of your AccuTite treatment. For those who want to avoid surgery and take a more conservative approach, it is the best option to improve the contour and youthfulness of your facial shape.

AccuTite does not treat pigmentation, redness or skin lesions. If needed, combination treatments with other lasers can be performed to address these concerns.

Learn More about AccuTite

AccuTite is radiofrequency assisted lipolysis, which tightens skin and dissolves fat in the desired areas. Settings can be customized to address specific concerns in different areas. The treatment is performed by Dr. Khurana who has trained with experts to become proficient and confident in performing safe and effective treatments. Results begin to show soon after the treatment and continue to improve over the following months.

What is an AccuTite treatment like?

The AccuTite treatment begins with the injection of lidocaine (tumescent anesthesia) into the areas to be treated. Laughing gas (nitrous oxide) is provided for extra comfort during this time. After the numbing has taken effect, a small cannula is inserted into the areas of treatment and the cannula is moved back and forth smoothly to apply the radiofrequency energy below the surface of the skin. The procedure is performed by Dr. Khurana in the clinic in a relaxed and safe setting. The procedure itself is relatively short, each area is treated within ten to twenty minutes. However, the preparation and total time can take up to one hour.

Is there any downtime with AccuTite

Downtime with AccuTite varies with the patient and intensity of the procedure. We ask that you allow at least one week for social downtime, depending on your threshold for social interaction. Patients can experience swelling which is related to the amount of anesthesia and fluid that is injected. Bruising is also common. If the chin (submental) area is treated, you will be asked to wear a compression garment for a minimum of three days and up to one week. After that, you should wear it for at least two weeks at night. This helps optimize your results and also helps the fluid and swelling move away from the area more quickly. Patients can expect some bruising, pain and swelling that will start to decrease within a few days after the treatment. Please avoid exercise for at least five days post procedure. If we are combining the treatment with Morpheus8, then be prepared for skin changes consisting of redness for at least a few days after the procedure.

Some bruising and swelling could persist for a few weeks.

AccuTite and Combination Treatments

At Shine MD, we are experts in combining (stacking) treatments that will improve your results even further.

Morpheus8 and AccuTite is a common combination that has the most potential to give you enhanced results without the downtime, cost or invasiveness of plastic surgery. Dr. Khurana has completed training with renowned physicians to deliver this non surgical face, under eye and neck lift to our patients both safely and effectively.

Halo Hybrid Fractional Laser can be performed on the same day to further improve results for texture and pigmentation.

How Does AccuTite Compare to Facial Plastic Surgery?

AccuTite is the closest one can get to achieving the results of plastic surgery, without undergoing surgery itself. Unlike a traditional facelift, AccuTite is less invasive, quicker and comes with less downtime than plastic surgery. It is important to note that AccuTite is not a replacement for plastic surgery and will yield milder results than plastic surgery. Some patients may first try this as a non surgical option and then proceed to have surgery in the future. Candidacy for plastic surgery must be determined with a thorough consultation with a plastic surgery specialist. It is important for patients to make an informed assessment of the cost and benefit when making a choice between AccuTite and surgery.

Am I a good candidate for AccuTite?

If you have mild to moderate skin laxity in areas such as the under eye, nasolabial folds, lower face or double chin and you want to avoid the downtime and stress of surgery then AccuTite is a perfect option for you.

You are not a good candidate for AccuTite if you have the following:
