What Is Unique About Potenza?
The Potenza Fusion Facial system allows for deep delivery of topical agents. With each pulse, the dual air chamber releases air and allows for the topical agent to penetrate the channels. This enhances the delivery of topicals such as Platelet Rich Plasma, Sculptra and hyaluronic acid fillers.
Potenza allows us to deliver energy in many modes, allowing for shallow and deep penetration of radiofrequency energy. The monopolar mode for Potenza allows for energy delivery across a large area of tissue. This allows for deep heating through soft tissue coagulation. Like many other radiofrequency microneedling devices, Potenza can be used on the face and the body.
Potenza also has a single tip that can treat inflamed acne lesions, providing a safe and low side effect to alternative to intralesional acne steroid injections.

How Does Potenza Work?
Potenza is a Radiofrequency Microneedling System that uses ultrafine needles to penetrate the skin and then deliver radiofrequency energy at varying depths under the skin surface. These needles create a controlled injury to the skin, stimulate the body’s natural healing mechanisms to induce collagen. The radiofrequency energy, tightens the underlying tissue while stimulating collagen production.
The Fusion tip has the remarkable ability to improve the delivery of topical agents such as platelet rich plasma, Sculptra and hyaluronic acid.
The Acne Tip provides energy into the acne lesion and improves the appearance and severity of solitary acne lesions.

How Many Treatments Do I Need?
We recommend anywhere from three to six treatments with Potenza to get you closer to your skin care goals. Treatments are performed one month apart. Potenza is available in packages of three and six treatments.
What Should I Expect During and After My Treatment?
Numbing will be applied prior to your treatment. The treatment involves mild to moderate discomfort and is perceived very differently for every patient. At your request, we offer Pronox (laughing gas) for added comfort.
Is There Any Downtime with Potenza?
Post treatment, your skin may be red for up to 24 hours. Downtime is minimal and skin changes are not usually present. Occasionally patients can have a rash or hive like reaction that can be treated with antihistamines.
Post treatment skin care recommendation is to use gentle skin care until your skin is back to normal. Sunscreen and sun avoidance are encouraged, especially in darker skin types.
What Results Can I Expect With Potenza?
Improved Skin Texture. You can expect an improvement in acne scars, fine lines and wrinkles.
Improved Skin Tightness. The combination of a microneedling and delivery of radiofrequency energy improve skin laxity by tightening the tissue. These effects are seen over the three to six months following the treatment.
Slimming Effect. Deeper delivery of Potenza energy in the areas such as jowls and neck can offer a non surgical slimming and tightening of the neck and jawline. This energy can also be applied to any area of the body, such as arms, thighs, and abdomen offering a non invasive approach to improving these areas.
