BioRePeel® is a Trichloracetic Acid based chemical peel that uses biphasic technology to exfoliate, hydrate, and rejuvenate the skin. Treatment Details
- Procedure Time: Each session takes approximately 15 minutes, making it a convenient “lunchtime” treatment. It is needle-free and painless.
- Sessions Recommended: A series of 4-6 sessions is generally recommended, depending on the severity of your skin condition. Treatments can be scheduled 7-10 days apart.
- Application: The peel is applied to the face, neck, or décolleté for 3-5 minutes, based on your tolerance, and can be combined with other spa therapies as advised by our expert practitioners.
- Aftercare: Minimal to no downtime is required. Slight skin flaking may occur in some cases as dead skin cells are removed, but this is normal and temporary.
Pre and Post Care Instructions

- Stop Active topicals prior to treatment
- Active skin care includes retinol, AHA/BHA, Glycolic, Acid, Lactic Acid, Salicylic Acid, Hydroquinone, Clindamycin, Benzoyl Peroxide.
- If you are using these medications for up to three months prior to treatment, you must stop the topicals at least two weeks prior to treatment.
- If you are using these products as spot treatments or intermittently, then stop one week prior.
- Doxycycline/Apprilon, Stop for seven days prior to treatment.
- Isotretinoin (Clarus,Accutane,Epuris Aborica LD) must be stopped for a minimum of one month prior. This must be discussed with your care team, dosing and skin condition will be factored into the treatment plan.
- Acceptable skin care leading up to treatment include, gentle cleansers, Vitamin C serums, hyaluronic acid, Sente/cysteamine Mask, tranexamic acid, moisturizers, sunscreen.
- Allow two weeks after Neuromodulator, Fillers or Sculptra/Biostimulator treatments.
You are not a candidate for treatment if you have the following:
- Open wounds
- Pre-existing inflammatory dermatosis (i.e. psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, pemphigus)
- Suntan or use a tanning bed/self tanner for 7 days prior
- Allergy to aspirin
- Recent retinol or active skin care use (two week minimum)
- Waxing or hair removal (electrolysis, depilatory creams, laser hair removal) less than 2 days prior to treatment
- Have had a chemical peel in the last two weeks.
- Pregnant or breastfeeding
Throughout the duration of your series of BioRePeel treatments, we ask you to refrain from using active ingredients. Active ingredient use may be resumed after a minimum of one week after your last session. If skin healing or skin changes are still present, delay the use of these products until your skin is calm.
